Meet the Surgeon
Dr. Enrique Gorbea is a fellowship-trained Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon, as well as a board-certified Head & Neck Surgeon. His practice focuses on surgical and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, cosmetic and functional nasal surgery, treatment of facial paralysis, and skin cancer reconstruction.
He was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame and obtained his medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Gorbea completed his residency training in Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He then completed a highly coveted Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery fellowship at the University of Washington — one of the most rigorous programs in the country.
Dr. Gorbea is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and is widely published in the fields of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Otolaryngology. He has presented his research at numerous national medical conferences.
